MN624 Digital Forensics, 2026. I owned the memory forensics task in a team of four.
I analysed a Cridex malware memory sample with Volatility. I found code injected into explorer.exe and a disguised Run key used for persistence, then reported the evidence following NIST SP 800-86.

I imaged a 32 GB USB drive with FTK Imager and checked it with MD5 and SHA1 hashes. In Autopsy, I found an encrypted archive of client financial data, recovered deleted files and built a timeline of activity. I kept a chain of custody record and followed NIST SP 800-86.

I tested OWASP Juice Shop, a deliberately insecure practice app. I intercepted login traffic, mapped the site and identified issues such as a missing Content Security Policy.

I prepared LITNET network flow data in Weka and removed fields that gave away the answer. I then compared J48, Naive Bayes and Random Forest on a separate test set. Random Forest reached 98.9% accuracy and caught every attack, but it wrongly flagged 24 of 155 normal records.

I reviewed IAM users, groups and policies, assigned access by business need, and tested it by signing in as each user.
